Israel House at the Riverdale Y (iHouse) is a program for the Israeli community in Riverdale and lower Westchester, providing an opportunity to come together and celebrate their heritage, ensure their children’s fluency with their parents' homeland culture and language, and to do so in the context of the New York Jewish community.
Thanks to a grant from the UJA Federation, we meet every other Sunday morning (10:30am–12:30pm) at the Riverdale Y for fun and conversation. This family-oriented event begins with fun and games for young children, followed by an Israeli-style Sunday brunch. We include programming for children and adults focusing on Israeli culture, traditions, and Jewish holidays.
All of our events are conducted in Hebrew and accompanied by Israeli music.
Thanks for coming out
to Lag Ba'Omer 2014!
