Come and join us for the Riverdale Y's Annual 5K/10K Walk and Run on Sunday, May 5, 2013!
The race promises to be a great day out for the whole family, with performances from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey® Circus clowns, a Red Nose Run for the little ones, and other festivities at the finish. Plus all race entrants will have full access to the Y's facilities for the rest of the day!
All money raised from the race will be donated to the Riverdale Y's fantastic scholarship fund, enabling everyone in the community to take part in all that the Y facilities have to offer. Your entry fees and additional donations will enable us to deliver food to homebound seniors (just $50 for 100 pantry packages), pay for children to attend summer camp ($100 per day) and sponsor sports clubs ($250 for an entire kids' basketball team). Every single entrant will make a huge difference in supporting the future of our community.

5K: $20 adv. / $25 day of; 10K: $25 adv. / $30 day of; Red Nose Run: FREE
On race day, we will be providing a FREE shuttle service from the Riverdale Y to the Sunday Market for participants and their families. There will be two Market-bound trips: one at 11:00am, and the other at 11:30am. Pick-up from the Sunday Market back to the Riverdale Y will be at 11:45am and 12:15pm.

A note about safety…
We know safety is on everyone's minds even more than usual. The 50th Precinct of the NYPD, as well as the Fire Department, will be providing security at the Y and throughout the race course on Sunday, May 5.
