Older adults can find nearly anything that interests them at the Riverdale Y. From special membership rates in our Fitness Center to film, theater, dance, music and more in our Arts Department, the Y is filled with activity and enrichment for adults.
Riverdale Y Senior Center offers opportunities to socialize, catch up with old friends, make more friends, and get involved in a new community. Membership is free for adults aged 60+. Register in-person Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Senior Center is funded by the New York City Department for the Aging and participant contributions.
A freshly-prepared, hot Glatt Kosher lunch is served daily at 12:00 PM. Menus are planned by the agency's head chef and reviewed by a nutritionist. All menus provide one-third of the recommended daily allowance and are low in sodium and fat. Substitutes are available for those with dietary restrictions. Call (718) 548-8200, ext. 225 from 9:00 AM–11:30 AM for our daily menu.
