Stanley Lane League
This winter, come join the wildly popular Stanley Lane Basketball League! The Stanley Lane Basketball League is first and foremost a developmental basketball league. All children have the opportunity to play on organized teams, participate in structured fundamental practices, and are encouraged to participate in basketball clinics. League fee includes t-shirt, trophies and the Youth Sports Awards Night. Practices will be held once per week on either Monday or Thursday evening. League games begin on December 23 and run through late March. $195 / $150 Y Members
As a developmental and fundamental youth basketball league, our "player assessment" period is a crucial part toward creating teams throughout each division. During the "player assessment" process, each young athlete will showcase their abilities as they rotate through four stations, while the coaches walk through each station. This assessment period helps the coaches and staff draft fair teams for fair play!
Volunteers Needed: We are looking for volunteer coaches. If you want to help please join us. No experience necessary — we’ll hold a mandatory clinic for volunteer coaches. Call ext. 240 for details
League games began January 6 and continue through March 17.

Youth Basketball Team Sponsors Needed! We have expanded our sponsorship program into four tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus. During our 2012 season, the Stanley Lane Youth Basketball League showcased over 210 players, 500 spectators, team scores and sponsors' names in weekly local paper and more! With over 8,500 people strolling through our doors, this is a great way to give back to the community by supporting the kids and the Y.

Adult 18+ Drop-In Basketball

Drop-in fee: FREE FOR MEMBERS!
Adult pick-up basketball is here! Welcoming all basketball abilities; from the high school level to former collegiate athletes. Come shoot hoops and play pick-up games. Use of scoreboard allows us to play full-court games to 10 points or the team that is leading after 10 minutes. In the case of a tie, next point wins. Depending on the volume, the gym splits in half for two full-court games.

Monday starting at 7:00pm, 8:00pm and 9:00pm

Date no game will be held: June 27
Playoffs: June 17 and 24
The League is open to Riverdale Y members and members of the community alike, over the age of 18. Proof of age is needed with one (1) official document with photo upon registration. Minimum of eight (8) regular season games and up to three (3) weeks of playoffs. Referee fee and shirts are included in fee.
All basketball league fees are:
$700/team, $50 refundable forfeit deposit.
