Lehman College Continuing Education classes are taught by professionals and experts in their fields. Music, performing arts and art classes are taught by internationally renowned performing artists, and working artists who have extensive teaching experience. Business classes are led by university level economic teachers and experienced financial advisors/analysts. Language classes and writing classes are taught by language specialists and experienced writers. SPANISH ESSENTIALS FOR TRAVELERS

You’ll get more from your vacation to Spanish-language countries with the vocabulary, phrases, questions and common expressions taught in this course by a noted speaker of Spanish. Common situations such as dining out, shopping, making reservations, money, time, directions, cultural awareness and greeting and conversing with local people are covered. Your trip will be more rewarding and comfortable with this knowledge of practical Spanish.

This workshop helps participants prepare for the New York State Notary Public Exam. Topics include duties and functions, laws, terminology, and ethics. Copies of notary public license laws and other reference material pertaining to the position of the New York State notary public are provided.
