The Riverdale Y! offers a specially designed ‘boot camp’-style workout throughout the school year.
To run in the Y’s 5K race on May 3, 2015. Each year, participants more than meet their goals — they become hooked on the fun and camaraderie of their weekly fitness class.
On your marks, get set, go!
- Get moving with cardiovascular exercises (running/intervals)
- Start to safely build muscle with functional training (squats/planks/lunges/crunches)
- Develop flexibility and get to know your body’s comfort levels with stretch and yoga
Classes are custom designed for tweens and teens as they grow and develop. Personal attention is given
to each participant. Make fitness friends, develop healthful workout habits, and learn to have fun being fit!
Classes twice a week - enroll in one, or both!
