This event is especially meaningful as it aligns with National Volunteer Month and National Picnic Day, two celebrations that encourage us to come together and make a positive impact on our community.

The need for blood donations is ongoing, and every day, someone in our community relies on the generosity of donors to receive the lifesaving treatment they need. By giving blood, you have the power to make a real difference in someone’s life. Just one donation can help save up to three lives. It’s a simple and selfless act that can have a significant impact on our community.

In our last blood drive, 61 donors were able to save 183 lives. Let’s come together and aim even higher this time.

I encourage you to make an appointment to donate and help us make a positive impact on our community. And after you’ve donated, why not celebrate with a picnic at the tables in the back garden of the Y. It’s a great way to recognize the good you’ve done while enjoying some quality time with your loved ones.
