“Murder Mystery: Nursery Crimes”

How it works:

Unlike a typical stage presentation, the performance happens among the patrons. Incidents occur at the tables allowing the guests to be participants as well as first hand witnesses to several incidents and clues. Characters join the patron’s tables and intermingle with the guests throughout the evening. Each incident is designed to provide audience members the opportunity to meet the characters, uncover their relationships to one another, discover potential motives and decipher how the murder was committed. Once all the incidents take place, an “official” murder investigation takes place followed by a 15-20 minute intermission, at which time audience members are encouraged to interact and interrogate the suspects.
At the end of the investigation, audience members cast their vote on who committed the murder and why. Ballots are collected and tabulated to determine a winner – the individual who guessed correctly – or who came the closest, wins a prize.
