We are aware that CDC has updated their guidelines regarding mask-wearing indoors to prevent further spread of the Delta variant. As we receive further guidance from the NYS Dept. of Health, we will communicate any changes in our procedures.
The DOT has scheduled road paving for Arlington Ave on Thursday, July 29. Drivers should use the back gate entrance on 256th St to enter and exit. The front lot will still be open for parking. Please be careful when using the driveways since there will be two way traffic.

Practicing Allyship on Trans Day of Remembrance

On Trans Day of Remembrance, Friday, November 20 at 11am, Rabbi Mike Moskowitz, CBST’s Scholar-in-Residence for Trans and Queer Jewish Studies will be in deep converstion on allyship around this sacred day with Rabbi Menachem Creditor, the Pearl and Ira Meyer Scholar-in-Residence at UJA-Federation New York. This program is open to all and will be livestreamed on CBST’s Facebook page. A recording will be archived in the videos section of CBST’s Facebook page.

CBST has partnered with Keshet to create a Trans Day of Remembrance Yortzeit Candle Sticker. If your observance permits, we ask you to share this picture of the Trans Day of Remembrance Yortzeit Candle on social media to honor those we have lost and to promote the visibility of this sacred day. Hashtags: #TDOR  #TDOR2020 #FromMourningToLiberation #TDORyortzeitcandle #TransDayOfRemembrance If you have a printer and a yortzeit candle, you can print out the sticker here and place it on your candle, otherwise feel free to simply share the photo.
