How can the lessons from the Exodus story help us better understand issues of mass incarceration?

Rabbi Hilly Haber, Rabbi Nicole Auerbach and John Ducksworth of the multi-faith initiative Ending Mass Incarceration will join with other leaders for an interactive conference that will include an engaging panel conversation, breakout room workshops, musical performances.

During our opening session, Rabbi Lydia Medwin of The Temple and Reverend John H. Vaughn of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta will speak about the national EMI Network and the role of faith communities and interfaith partnerships in ending mass incarceration in America.

The second part of our program will be split into two 25 minute workshops, from 5:00-5:25 pm and 5:25-5:50 pm. The workshop descriptions are below. When registering, please choose the two workshops you’d like to attend, and we will do our best to accommodate your preference.
