A Sense of Riverdale: Connecting Jews Throughout Our Community
Coming Together as a Community in a Fractured World: Building on the Lessons of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Gather with the entire Riverdale Jewish community on Friday night, January 12 at CSAIR. Join us for Shabbat dinner and learning sponsored by the Riverdale Jewish Community Partnership with support from UJA Federation of New York.

4:31pm – Candlelighting time; please consult your synagogue for service times
5:15 – 6:30pm – Young Family Shabbat celebration and dinner for families with children 0-4
5:15 – 6:30pm – Mechitza Minyan for Kabbalat Shabbat and Maariv organized by Minyan Shachar and The Kehilah
5:45 – 6:30pm – Joint egalitarian Kabbalat Shabbat and Maariv service organized by CSAIR, Riverdale Temple, and Congregation Tehillah
6:45 – 7:45pm – Dinner and Conversation (dinner catered by Silver Leaf Caterers)
8:00 – 8:45pm - Learning sessions with Dr. Yehuda Kurtzer, Laura Shaw Frank, Rabbi Ethan Tucker, and Dr. Irit Offer Stark (in Hebrew)
8:00 – 8:45pm – Activities for kids and teens by age cohort
9:00pm – Reconvene for dessert and schmoozing
