Last night, the Riverdale Y hosted an interfaith conversation and dinner which was attended by over 20 religious leaders from Muslim, Christian and Jewish communities from Riverdale and the Bronx. We were honored by the presence of NYC Council Member Eric Dinowitz and Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark. The goal of the gathering was to begin building relationships across faith communities and to learn how to be allies for one another.
Funding for this event came from the NYC Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes, the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of NY, and Council Member Eric Dinowitz.
