Digital Marketing Associate

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and update website content on WordPress, creating registration forms, optimizing images, adding events, copy, links, and other program information.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure that website provides content and functionality that meets the business needs of the organization.
  • Participate in efforts to improve quality of website and other electronic publications as needed.
  • Monitor web traffic, performance and capacity to identify, prevent and resolve issues.
  • Report regularly on key metrics and outcomes of digital marketing
  • Work with creative talent to keep web images and designs up to date
  • Plan and execute email campaigns, including newsletters
  • Manage social media presence: areas of fitness, camps, performing arts and parenting
  • Manage Hootsuite for scheduled social media posting
  • Plan & execute paid online advertising campaigns including Google Ads, ReachLocal, Facebook
  • Attend events when relevant to gather marketing content material
  • Explore and recommend new online marketing initiatives
  • Maintain knowledge of digital marketing trends and technology

Candidates with the following qualities and abilities will thrive in this role:

  • 2-3 years of digital marketing experience
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Google Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console,
  • Experience with Facebook and YouTube Advertising
  • Expertise with MailChimp and familiarity with email marketing best practices
  • Self-motivated. You don’t need close supervision to be productive.
  • Dependable. You are committed to go above and beyond when necessary to reach goals.
  • Excellent writing skills. You have a perfect grasp of grammar, but can still nail nuance and tone in social media and other content.
  • Have a strong attention to detail. You are thorough and precise in your work.
  • Flexible in prioritizing tasks. This can be a very fluid work environment.
  • Familiarity with Jewish culture and not-for-profits a definite plus.
  • Strong sense of collaboration, great attitude, and sense of humor are mainstream to our company culture

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Google AdWords and other Google Ad Certifications are a plus
