Part-time Kitchen Assistant
POSITION TITLE: Kitchen Assistant
Under the supervision of the cook or kitchen administrator assists in food preparation, service,
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Food preparation and food service under the direction of the Head Chef.
Move, unpack, and store food and supplies.
Assist in taking inventory and maintaining order of food areas.
Clean dining room, kitchen, including cupboards, shelves, racks, work surfaces, cooking
equipment, refrigeration units, dishes, and utensils.
Clean large and small appliances and equipment including all surface areas.
Wash pots and pans, and store them in a clean, sanitary and orderly manner.
Perform other required tasks at the direction of the Head Chef or Senior Center Director
SKILLS: Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
