The goal of the social skills group is for children to gain skills in social interaction, having fun with others, collaborative problem solving and learning to handle various challenging social situations. The social skills group will be led by Jessica Lugo,PS 24's mental health consultant. Jessica is a New York State Certified School Psychologist by background, and has been in the field for over 15 years, working in both academic and therapeutic settings. Jessica?s area of expertise ranges from school based individual and group counseling, to behavior modification, and mental health.
