Angelique is probably the only Riverdale Y staffer to be interviewed for her job while in her workout attire.
“I was a member of The Y, and one morning after a workout, Ricki Van Tosh approached me about working here. I was hired on the spot.”
Since then, she has worked her way through The Y via reception, marketing, design, and now membership, sales and services.
“Working at The Y and in my community has been truly rewarding,” Angelique says.
A Bronx native, Angelique’s illustration and motion graphics degrees come from the Fashion Institute of Technology, in New York, and the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her professional background is in graphic design and marketing.
