Arienny De Jesus

I’ve been working at the Riverdale Y for 3 years now. Throughout the year, I work as a head counselor for the younger grades, usually First and Second Grade. During the summer, I work for one of the camps the Riverdale Y provides for the community. Not only do I learn from all my kids, but I also get to watch them grow as they begin to find themselves. The best part is being able to guide the kids to their full potential. Working with kids is honestly the most rewarding job, and I love it. I definitely see myself working with kids in the future. I see myself working as a child psychologist five years from now; making a difference in each child’s life that I encounter.
