Early Childhood Teacher
I have been teaching at the Riverdale Y for over a decade, since I obtained my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education at Hunter College. I have been working with children of all ages from two to five years old. I believe that social emotional development at this early age is crucial for children’s development. I’m passionate about working with young children and I enjoy helping the children to grow, learn, and explore.
Philosophy
I believe that the children learn a lot through hands-on activity and their own exploration and therefore, the process is more important than the end product.
