Jessie Sector

Jessie Sector is an Astoria, NY based choreographer and dancer currently creating and performing work in NYC. She graduated from SUNY College at Brockport (‘13) with dual degrees in Dance and Interdisciplinary Arts for Children Education. Sector is a teaching artist with Pilobolus Dance Theater, and at several NYC studios for both children and adults. Most recently, she was commissioned to create an original work for Nacre Dance, premiering in their Spring show, “Dance Big, Laugh Loud” in Saratoga, NY. Other recent projects include, the 2017 NACHMO showcase, and a feature role in a dance film entitled “Enouement”, produced by choreographer Caitlin Parish and Dance Into Deliverance. She has been a guest artist with Nacre Dance, the ChEckUsOuT! Dance festival, Geomantics Dance Theater, and DanceWorks NYC, and has performed with Kelley Donovan and Dancers, Jessica Gaynor Dance, Converge Dance, Pilobolus Dance Theater, Maja Bakija, NACHMO, and many other talented artists in the NYC area.
