Joseph Robinson

Rabbi Joseph Robinson joined the Riverdale community after many adventures throughout the United States and Israel. He has extensive experience working with a variety of different Jewish communities in California, Minnesota, Alabama, and now New York City. In addition to his duties at the Riverdale Y (facilitating the Riverdale Jewish Community Partnership and coordinating intergroup experiences), he holds the rank of captain in the Army National Guard, serving as a battalion chaplain.

Joseph’s family is blessed to be involved in so many aspects of the Y. His three oldest children, Ruth, Liam, and Benny, love to participate in Kid’s Space and Rising Stars. His youngest is a new face in the ECC. Joining forces with his wife (Emily Hausman – Dir. of Early Childhood), Joseph is delighted to partner with the diverse Riverdale institutions to design mindful, engaging, and meaningful programming community-wide.
