Are we there yet?
We sure hope so! Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, Riverdale Y has maintained our commitment to care for, and continue enriching our entire community. And, we have been following all the guidelines and protocols to keep you safe as we get all our programs back on track.
We are so much more than a place that teaches our youngest children, or nourishes our seniors, or supports children and adults in staying healthy. We are more than a place where people find their voice and their passion, or volunteer time to care for those around them.
In everything we do, we:
- Build and strengthen community
- Create a space of belonging, where everyone feels respected and appreciated for who they are
- Nurture our minds, bodies and souls
- Commit to lifelong learning and growth
- Own our responsibility to care for one another, in our local community and in our world
As we begin to live in this “new normal” time, and we start to go out and gather in larger numbers, Riverdale Y will continue to be here for you. But we can’t do it alone. While you get ready to celebrate the holiday season with your loved ones, we ask that you consider a special end-of-year gift so that we can continue to serve you and your community.
Your gift can be directed to any of the following programs:
General operating funds (as the entire country faces a staffing crisis and supply chain issues, we are feeling the pinch as we try to staff up for our members)
Social Responsibility Fund (our community service and volunteerism programs, including Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service)
Our RPAC Theater Program (to help us continue to teach and perform for you)
